Caroline Bergvall i Kritiker #7:
Listening to literature is becoming a socio-cultural reality intrincately connected to ways of living and of accessing cultural material. This cultural development of literature as an artform increasingly listened to is fascinating. What are the implications for writing if it is no longer simply published as a visual and graphic mode, but also finds itself housed or hosted in forms that sound or voice the text? What might this come to mean for the way writing conducts itself, through and beyond the literary as we know it, if the sounding or voicing of the text is increasingly being used and resourced?
